HOW CAN I HELP?

Stuck, Anxious, Confused, Oh My!

Sometimes people feel restless or dissatisfied (in work, relationships, or with ourselves), but not sure what to do next. Together, we can discover where you are feeling stuck. Is anxiety spiking or your mood sinking? Does something just feel not quite right? Do you wonder if this is all there is? Or how you keep ending up in the same place? Exploring your internal world in a safe, caring environment can help you make sense of where you are. Together, we will work to manage distress, find meaning, and identify and address habitual patterns, then work to find a way forward that takes you closer to the life you want to live.

In a Time of Transition?

Divorce, marriage, parenthood, and loss of a loved one are some of the big changes we might face in life. We may also have illness, changes in work, and transitions to new life stages (ours or someone else’s) such as adulthood and middle age. These can be challenging to navigate. In times like these, we work together to find tools to help ease the transition while you adjust to changes, let go of what’s over, and make space for what’s next.

Big Feelings about Parenting?

Sometimes worry about our kids feels endless. Am I doing the right thing? Am I alienating them? Am I pushing too hard? Am I not pushing enough? It goes on and on. All of this pressure to do it “right” can make us feel overwhelmed and stuck. Parenting from this place is less than ideal; we lose the forest through the trees. Let’s work together for 3-6 sessions to really understand what your parenting values are and how you can use them, instead of your big feelings, as a guide to support your child and ease your mind.

Need Space for Honest Relationship Talk?

I don’t think relationships should be hard, but things that are meaningful to us require effort. Over time, couples might find that they have lost a connection, stopped communicating well, or are facing a new challenge or transition they aren’t sure how to navigate (births/deaths/remarriages for example). With these challenges, it can be hard to cultivate the space between two people for that effort to happen. With training in Emotion Focused Therapy for Couples, I work to create a safe space for honest, authentic communication, which makes clarity and genuine connection possible.
